Can someone give me the general opinion of officers opinions on sleeping in your car?

This is a topic that comes up here off and on. I would say that most officers would have a negative opinion of the practice, and I can understand their stance.

If it was at a marked rest area, for just a short period of time (one or two hours), you probably wouldn't have a problem, but setting up camp on Main Street would most likely bring you unwanted attention.
