Hi I am new here. Never done a road trip really. Anyways I've always wanted to visit Roswell, NM. Thought about flying down but I thought it might be more fun to drive there and back. I live in Nebraska. I don't have a car right now because I have no need for one so I was thinking about renting a car. Can you do that? Is it safe? I'm not even sure if I am going to do this, I'd like to but don't know if you're allowed to do that with rental cars.

Thanks. I am 21. I was thinking about renting from Enterprise as they rent to 21 year olds. My credit card (Citibank Mastercard) offers some sort of car rental insurance, although I will admit I am a very cautious driver for a 21 year old male!
Rather than doing the whole journey for your first time -- I would rent a car and take a couple of 200 to 300 mile driving trips around Nebraska -- get your profiency skills back up to par before heading off to New Mexico.Quote:
