las vegas to san francisco

Hello all

my lovely best friend as been travelling all over the world and uim finally getting to meet up with her. We're planning on doing LA-Las Vegas then hiring a car to drive from Las Vegas to San Francisco.

Any hints of what roads to take, any lovely scenic paths we could follow would be really grateful

Welcome aboard the RoadTrip America forum.

This is one of the most scenic and travelled areas of the US, and so comes up quite often on these forums. So I think the best thing would be to point you to a few threads (Thread1, Thread2, Thread3, Thread4) that cover much of the same ground. There may be destinations and attractions in there that aren't what you want, but you will find a wealth of information and even the things you're not so interested in may trigger other ideas of your own.
