Located on the banks of the Mississippi River, The National Eagle Center features an interpretive center with exhibits about eagles, the ability to see live eagles who are being rehabilitated, and a viewing deck where you can watch eagles in their natural habitat, as hundreds live in the area.
If you go:
Eagles live in the area year round, but the peak time for viewing is late fall through early spring, as thousands of eagles migrate to the area.
