On the corner of Bush and Grant is the famous 'Dragons Gate', which is the gateway to San Francisco's Chinatown. This is claimed to be the oldest 'Chinatown' in North America and the largest outside of Asia. A 'City within a City' it maintains it's traditions and has it's own government

      If you go:
A wonderful place to meander around the shops and restaurants while admiring the ornate building and soaking up the atmosphere of this vibrant area.

Yes, I agree, it's one of the "must see" places in San Francisco. Last time we were there though we wanted to sample some authentic resturants in the area and had no idea of where to go. My wife and I looked into several places based on posted menus, etc, but no idea of what to expect.

It's a great place to spend the day or even an afternoon, but quite confusing if looking for a place for lunch or dinner.
