• Cathedral of St. Paul - St. Paul, Minnesota

      Sitting on the highest point in St. Paul, the Cathedral is one of the most distinctive landmarks in Minnesota and one of the largest churches in North America. Completed in 1915, the church features granite walls and a 300 foot tall copper dome. The church is a National Historic Landmark and has been named by the Catholic Church as a National Shrine to the Apostle Paul.

      About a quarter million people visit the Cathedral every year. Guided tours are available at 1pm on weekdays, with self-guided tour booklets available at other times. Free, with donations accepted.
