The High Desert Museum is actually a multitude of different attractions in one. Indoors there are walk-through exhibits dedicated to the Indian Nations and High Desert settlers, outdoors there's a sawmill, a nature trail, a [PRBREAK][/PRBREAK settlers homestead ranch and more. The High Desert Museum also serves as a rescue center for eagles, otters, wildcats and other wildlife from the region. ]
