Wakulla Springs is the world's largest and deepest freshwater springs with a 70 degree temperature year round. A "Jungle Cruise" takes you on the river to see manatees, alligators, turtles, and more wild birds than you can imagine. "Creature from the Black Lagoon" was filmed here. There is the historic Lodge, built in In 1937, by millionaire Edward Ball. The original creature costume, remnants of the first Wakulla County post office, and the longest marble soda fountain ever built. You can stay at the lodge and dine in its dining room.

Park is open 8 a.m. until sundown, 365 days a year. There is a $6 per vehicle for park entrance. Boat tours are $8 for ages 13 years and up, $5 for ages 3 to 12 years, and free for ages 3 years and under.The Lodge is open 24 hours.
