The #1 attraction of this scenic park, just a 20 minute drive north of Whistler, is as you'd expect Nairn Falls itself. Leave the parking lot and follow the 3 km round trip trail through woodland along the side of fast-flowing Green River. It's an easy hike, perfectly suitable for kids, but there are drop-offs along the way so take care. The falls themselves are spectacular and there are various viewing points so allow a little time to take them all in.

      If you go:
There's a campground - open May to October, prebooking advised - with pit toilets and campfire rings. Other activities include cycling, fishing and wildlife viewing (the area is known for its black bears). There is a swimming and play area at nearby One Mile Lake.
