If you enjoy Halloween haunted attractions, you will be bowled over by Netherworld. It's both more extensive and more intensive than just about any haunted attraction you'll ever see. Whereas you breeze through most haunts in 5 to 10 minutes, Netherworld offers a considerably longer tour, and each step is packed with frights and fascinating design and detail. Furthermore, there are actually two haunts on the premises, and a reasonably priced combo ticket gets you into both. You could easily spend an hour being entertained, impressed, overwhelmed and quite possibly scared out of your wits. Additionally, some of the hundreds of costumed actors will be wandering the grounds and interacting with guests as they wait in line or mingle in the courtyard with the concession stands and other features. You will see why Netherworld is consistently named as one of the nation's very best scare sites. The venue also features a laser tag adventure, escape rooms and a museum.

      If you go:
Netherworld opens in late September and runs through early November, being open nightly through most of October. Expect a long wait in line, especially close to Halloween, but the wait itself will be entertaining. You can also purchase timed tickets or a fast pass to lessen the wait. Tickets available online. Netherworld is close to Stone Mountain theme park.
