Nowadays the historic Old Firehouse, built in 1882, is the home of an impressive bookstore and tea shop. But chances are its architecture will remind you of something else. That's because it was a major inspiration for the architecture at Main Street U.S.A. in Disneyland. Disney modeled the section of his theme park after parts of Fort Collins and Marceline, Missouri. The Firehouse is perhaps the most conspicuous example that you can still spot while exploring the Old Town section of Fort Collins.
