There's a reason the word adventure is in the name, and there's a reason the seats look like saddles. This is not a leisurely cruise on the bay, but a high-speed jaunt aboard a Navy SEAL Rigid Inflatable Boat at speeds that can exceed 50 m.p.h. Which gives you the chance to spend more time pausing at close range to admire sights that most people don't get to see. Which, depending on the specific tour, might include Boon Lighthouse, New England's tallest, which is located on a tiny island 6 miles offshore; or Goat Island Lighthouse. You may even spot a small whale or two, and if you go to Boon, you'll certainly see hundreds of seals. Your tour will be piloted and narrated by a delightfully knowledgeable and colorful captain who will make certain you have a good time and a memorable adventure.

      If you go:
Meet at the rear of Jack's Brew Pub at least 15 minutes before your tour starts. Free parking is available. Sunscreen recommended. If you wear a hat, make certain it has a chin strap, otherwise it's guaranteed to blow off. While in the harbor, you may spot a U.S. Secret Service boat, clearly labeled as such, guarding a boat belonging to former president George H. W. Bush.
