• Olson House - Cushing, Maine

      This photogenic colonial farmhouse is where Andrew Wyeth painted pictures for close to 30 years. Owned by sister and brother, Christina and Alvaro Olson, it is featured in Wyeth's masterpiece, "Christina's World." Docent-led tours are offered throughout the day.

      If you go:
      The Olson House, owned and operated by the Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland, Maine, is open from around Memorial Day through the end of September. No wheelchair access. Narrow roads, small parking lot will not accommodate large RVs.
