If you've driven through Vancouver, you've surely spotted the prominent geodesic dome of the TELUS World Of Science, which formerly was formally called Science World. This renowned science center, which typically takes about three hours to tour, features interactive exhibits, live science presentations and films, as well as many other special activities and events. In addition to its family programming, TELUS also offers special evening events for adults only. Oh, and that dome, by the way, contains the largest Omnimax dome screen in the world. And the exterior features colored lights that provide a light show at scheduled times.
If you go:
Open daily except Christmas and special events, with slightly longer hours during the summer. Paid parking on site. There is also a TELUS World Of Science in Edmonton, Alberta.
