With dioramas, exhibits, costumed interpreters and special activities, the California Trail Interpretative Center brings pioneer history to life. There are full scale models of a Shoshone camp (built by local members of the tribe) and a wagon train encampment featuring three detailed covered wagons. The Pioneer Days event, held every year in June, features such activities as a pioneer dance.
If you go:
Open every day 9 to 4:30, except Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Day.
