Bridal Cave and Thunder Mountain Park - Camdenton, Missouri

According to legend, this cave deep beneath Thunder Mountain was once the site of a wedding among the Osage tribe of Native Americans. Thus the name, which has added to its mystique and lure for the curious explorer and admirer of fabulous rock formations. Above ground, there are hiking trails, The Lake of the Ozarks with a boat dock, and a gemstone mining experience. Oh, and by the way, the cave is also still a choice site for weddings today, with over 3000 of them having been performed here.
