      121 victims of the Titanic disaster are buried at Fairview Lawn Cemetery in Halifax. Granite markers honor each of the victims, including many who were never identified. One headstone honors a "unknown child," who was finally identified using DNA testing in 2008. Five years after the Titanic Disaster, Fairview Lawn Cemetery was also used as the site of a mass grave for hundreds of victims of the Halifax Explosion.

      Fairview Lawn Cemetery is one of three cemeteries used to bury Titanic Victims. 19 are buries at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery, while 10 are in the Baron de Hirsch Jewish Cemetery. Most Titanic victims bodies were never recovered or buried at sea.
