Basin Head Provincial Park is considered one of the best beaches on Prince Edward Island, but its "singing sands" are really what make it unique. If you walk just right across the white sand, you can hear the squeak or "sing" beneath your feet!
If you go:
Admission to the park is free! There is a changing house with showers, as well as a food stand. The park is also home to the Basin Head Fisheries Museum, which does have an admission fee.
