• St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site at Johnson Farm - St. George, Utah

When a retired optometrist decided to level a hill on his property in 2000, he did not expect to find the largest collection of dinosaur footprints in the world. Now the farm is a museum dedicated to preserving and studying the sandstone records from 200 million years ago. The original footprints are displayed throughout the museum and there are a lot of detailed reproductions of various dinosaurs that lived in the general area. They also host changing special exhibits loaned from universities.

      If you go:
The museum is very kid friendly and the walkway over the rocks is wheelchair accessible. There is an outdoor play area with a sandpit and tools to make your own dino tracks and a few shaded picnic tables. The gift shop offers a wide variety of high quality dinosaur toys, with many of the lesser known but unique dinosaurs.
