• Tucson Desert Art Museum - Tucson, Arizona

      "Visualize history through art" is the motto of this art museum. Its mission is to display art and artifacts of the Desert Southwest, and educate guests about the history, cultures and art of the region. The central exhibit showcases Navajo and Hopi pre-1940s textiles and weavings. Paintings by well- known Western artists are also on display. Rotating special exhibits change out each year.

      If you go:
      Open Wednesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Closed during July and for major holidays. Admission with discounts for seniors, students, youth and military. Large parking will accommodate RVs.
