Take a walk around Tombstone's Boothill Graveyard for a fascinating insight into how people lived and died in these parts towards the end of the 19th century. Unlike much of Tombstone, this is the real thing, as many as 300 people were buried here. While the wooden grave-markers are new, the inscriptions are original and revealing: Killed By Indians, Murdered, Hanged by Mistake, Died of Leprosy.

In the summer months, local actors perform gunfights and there are a number of historical sites to see. The courthouse is now a museum full of artifacts from the mining days of the territory.
