Bike, walk or run along this old railroad right-of-way on a 13-mile paved rail trail that runs from Dorsey Road in Glen Burnie to Boulters Way in Annapolis. Five parking areas and a two-percent grade make this accessible for long and short trips. The Earleigh Heights Ranger Station in Severna Park has restroom facilities and a picnic area and is near the halfway point.
If you go:
Park open daily until dusk. The Earliegh Heights Ranger Station is open Tuesday - Sunday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, closed Mondays and holidays. Restrooms are open from 7 am to dusk. Restrooms and portable toilets are available at the southern end at Jonas Green Park.
