A four acre hillside provides the setting for a world in miniature. Created by the late Benedictine Monk, Brother Joseph Zoettl, it was first started as a hobby, but later as a life goal. He constructed over 125 small scenes. They are evenly divided between religious and fairy tale themes, some awesome and some comical. The concrete sidewalk winds around on the hillside revealing the masterpieces of famous churches, castles and even whole ancient towns and cities.
If you go:
This is a fee attraction, but well worth the price and time, even if you are not a Catholic.
