• The Foshay Tower - Minneapolis, Minnesota

      Modeled after the Washington Monument, the Foshay Tower opened in 1929 and was the tallest skyscraper in Minneapolis until 1971. The observation deck on the 30th floor has 360-degree views for miles in all directions. A museum contains articles, artifacts and the history of the building and its founder.

      Open 7 days/week, weather permitting. Check ahead. Admission $8 at hotel front desk. Discounts for seniors, students and teens. Children under 12 free. The deck is not wheelchair accessible; the museum is.
