• Franklin D. Roosevelt National Historical Site & FDR Presidential Library and Museum - Hyde Park, New York

      Franklin Delano Roosevelt was the 32nd president of the United States and the only four-term president. He was the first to establish a presidential library. He used it while president, then turned it over to the National Archives to administer. It is housed on the grounds near his Springwood estate. You can tour both the house and museum/library. Eleanor Roosevelt's papers are also housed in the presidential library.

      The Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt guided tour also includes admission to the FDR Presidential Library and Museum. Pass holders receive free admission to the park; access pass holders also receive free admission to the presidential museum. Reservations for tours generally not needed for individuals, but you can make them. Tours are necessary for the home; take a self-guided tour through the presidential museum.
