Vehicles of Destruction
No ordinary Hillman...
Ben-Hur

Barstow, California—

We hope you never meet one of these mad vehicles of destruction on a dark and deserted stretch of highway. The best way to view them is to visit Greg Parker at A-1 Towing in Barstow, California. Amazingly, all but one of these vehicles actually run, but the only place you're likely to see them doing it is in a movie.

For another example of the Greg Parker's creativity, check out this Suburban, which looks like something out of Desert Storm.

April, 1996

Update: Greg Parker passed away in September, 2005. Click here for a story about his memorial service and the Route 66 twilight procession held in his honor.
