You Got It!

Bubble Gum AlleyIt's GUM!

...And a lot of it! Contributors have been at work since the sixties in San Luis Obispo, California, where the wads are ten or fifteen pieces thick in the most popular spots along Bubblegum Alley.

According to locals, it's especially memorable on hot days, when the unforgettable smell of thousands of pre-chewed mouthfuls of Bazooka surrounds you in the narrow passageway.

"Ew! Gross!" is the most common reaction of passersby who have yet to appreciate the cultural significance of this work in progress. In case you want to make a pilgrimage (and a contribution), Bubblegum Alley is in the 700 block of Higuera Street.
