It's a cream separator!

Ray Streblow's family used to own a dairy. This separator was an important piece of machinery. It separated cream from whole milk using gravity and centrifugal force.

The separator is just one of many fascinating cars, machines, gadgets, photographs and tools on display in Ray's Museum of Years Past in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
