of Laguna Niguel, California. He writes: "US-89
southbound makes a 90 degree turn in 'downtown' Panguitch, Utah.
Apparently, a lot of drivers don't. This barren, windswept road
finally winds past Panguitch Lake 17 miles later and the county
fathers apparently decided they needed this sign to help travelers
avoid some very long detours."
