Pam Buesnell

Pam Buesnell of Syney, Australia, shares this easy & delicious appetizer

1 lb. Braunschweiger liverwurst
½ lb. bacon, finely chopped
(Trim off fat before cooking)
1 medium onion,
finely chopped

½ cup fresh parsley, chopped
(dried parsley may be substituted
if necessary)
½ tsp. dried thyme
1 tsp. crushed garlic
butter

Saute the bacon, onion, parsley, thyme and garlic in a little butter. Blend sauted ingredients in a food processor with the liverwurst, adding a little water as needed to make a smooth pate. Serve chilled with crackers or bread.
