Lady Zouaves Mural

Sterling has fifteen murals in the downtown area depicting scenes from the 18th and 19th centuries. This one is entitled "Sterling Lady Zouaves" and depicts a women's drill team that was organized in 1917 and holds a world record for wall climbing. The mural is located on the south side of Brink Circle at Central Park. This Kerby mural was painted in 1997. Here is a map of the Sterling murals.
