Cow Mural on the Furniture Barn in Flagstaff, Arizona
Photographed by Gerald Thurman of Tempe, Arizona
Cow Mural

This 35-foot tall Holstein cow that graces the front of the Furniture Barn on Milton Road (Route 66) in downtown Flagstaff was the first commissioned project that Melanie Thomson-Myers painted. Melanie Thomson-Myers now lives and works in Phoenix, Arizona, and her murals can be seen in a number of private residences and public buildings in the greater Phoenix area. Local Flagstaff artist and former muralist Jim Thomas has created a site that seeks to preserve other murals found in the Flagstaff area.
