Well at least I got a bit of it, I guess. Reminds me somehow of Monserratt way up above Barcelona.

Default Solvang, California?

There are such structures in Solvang. And thanks for submitting a new puzzle, there has been a gap -- I've got a couple more in the wings....

Where is this? And what's famous iconic phrase will be forever associated with this view?

Default The Plane! The Plane!

That "weekly" gave it up; I knew it had to be a TV show, so went into the Emmys for 1980 (in the middle of the run) and looked for suspects....

"Fantasy Island" picked up a nomination for Cinematography, a quick lookup of filiming locations in IMBD reveals (among other things) the

Los Angeles County Arboretum

wherein is found the

Baldwin Cottage AKA Queen Anne Cottage

in scenic Arcadia, CA.

Default "Da Plane, Da Plane"

Yep, that's the place:

A few more interesting things about this house -- it had a very, very fancy bathroom with flush plumbing, an extensive music room, parlour and bedrooms, but it had no.... kitchen. All of the food was prepared by the staff at the nearby Adobe house and delivered to the house!

Good work!

1) What is the name of this place?
2) Where was the photographer standing to capture this photo?

Default Rio Grande

Is it the Rio Grande gorge [state park] ?

If so the picture was taken from the award winning Rio Grande bridge on the 64 not far from Taos.
