Default A bit more detail needed.

Hello and welcome to the RTA forums !

Well some of the best campgrounds you will find are in the National parks and State parks you may visit but other than those parks you have listed it's a bit to specific to recommend campgrounds when we don't know what you actual route and timeline is. If it's a round trip you have 6 full days of driving and then less how much time you wish to spend in Vegas. Or is it a one way trip of 18 days to actually get to Vegas ? You seem to have some ideas so I would pull the maps out and start marking them and then start to form a route and a timeline. How much time to spend in each park for example. Once you have the basics laid out we will be in better shape to help you, but right now there would be thousands of attractions and route options open to you. Colorado has some amazing scenic drive and parks as well as small towns and might be a 'fit' for what you are looking for.

It is one way around 18 days trip, what about Colorado is there not to cold at what about snow?

    Thanks Thomas

we have been to Denver in May and that was warm but there was alot of snow in Rocky Mountain Park, so i have looked alot yesterday, and came up with this route, Forest City, Fort Dodge, Winterset, Elk horn, Omaha, Grand Island, Wood River, Dodge City, Boise City, Taos, Monument Valley, Archers, Bryce, Zion, Grand Canyon, Seligman, Las Vegas, Death Valley. We love hiking, Camping RV Park or NP camping, and enything like museums and Local towns history. Thanks Thomas
