  1. Default Roadtrip from Las Vegas to San Francisco via Yosemite and Death Valley.

Hello, my partner and I are doing a road trip from Las Vegas to San Francisco in the middle of September and want to go via Death Valley and Yosemite. What is the best way to go? Also what are the must sees along the way? We will spend two nights doing this, but unsure where. Where is best to stay etc... Thanks in advance.

    Hello and welcome.

I would drive through Death valley and head north on US395 and look to stay around Bishop or Mammoth and then head into Yosemite NP on Tioga pass (CA120) to spend another night. You should have time to check out the valley same day and then drive up to Glacier point the next day before continuing to SF.

    Default Go well prepared.

Even in September Death Valley can be extremely hot. Be sure you carry hats, sunscreen and lots and lots of water. You can't have too much. Stay on the paved roads, as even a flat tyre could get you into serious trouble.

That said, it is a place you should not miss - an amazing landscape.
