  1. Default Boston to Louisville. 2/3 days

Hi. Looking for suggestions and advice. Everyone seems very knowledgeable on here!
Flying into Boston from the UK in July and after a couple of nights stay there we plan to drive to Tell city Southern Indiana, thinking of 1 or 2 nights stopover. I would take longer but my boyfriend will be not wanting to meander too much as he is on his way back to see his family after 18 years away!
We will be returning to Boston after 2 weeks and would again be staying 1 or 2 nights on route.
Only plan so far is we fancy a different route to and from ....

    Thank you!

    Default A loop.

Hello and welcome to the RTA forums !

With just one overnight stop you will have 2 comfortable, but full days of driving other than basic stops. With an extra night you could look at a detour to Niagara Falls in one direction and perhaps head towards the Appalachians the other with a possible trip to Shenandoah National park. That looks quite an inviting loop, but there will be others more familiar with the area than me. Have a look around the site and at maps for ideas that will appeal to you and if you have further questions, just ask.
