Default Chinook, Montana to the Missouri Breaks & the McClelland Ferry

    Hi All,

WildFish Angler/Cigar Joe here. Been making road trips since I learned to drive this one is the latest

A nice little road trip 80 miles South of Chinook, Mt to the Missouri Breaks and the old McClelland Ferry (established 1921) one of the last cable ferries across the Missouri River in Montana. 18 miles of paved road then gravel deteriorating to clay gumbo down in the Breaks. My steel stead was a 2014 GMC Denali Crew Cab Diesel. Enjoy the Video!

    Default Great for lunch

Welcome to the trip planning forums! A nice lunch break, (watching your video), I wasn't aware that this ferry was still in use.

Edit: Here is a photo of a similar ferry in use...

    Thanks for sharing.
