    Default Can I leave today

I was supposed to leave Albuquerque,NM yesterday for Denver Colorado.. Due to the weather I had to wait. Will it be safe enough to leave today?

    Welcome to RTA!

Best way to answer that is to refer you to the NM and CO road conditions websites, and

At the time I'm making this post (1:15pm MST) I-25 between ABQ and the Sandoval/Santa Fe county line is clear, then the rest of the way to CO has "fair" driving conditions - wet, some icy spots, intermittent snow. In CO, I-25 between the NM line and Denver is wet, slushy, icy, and snow packed.

Being that it's already afternoon, I'd advise you to wait till tomorrow and get an early AM start so you don't have to drive after dark, which will be more hazardous than it is now. Even tomorrow is going to be iffy but it is definitely safer in daylight.

    Define "safe enough?"

I drove 50 miles to work at 0530 this morning on treated and plowed roads.
I'll drive 50 miles home this afternoon.

Make up your own mind. It's your responsibility to do so.
