    Default What Are Your Concerns?

Welcome aboard the RoadTrip America Forums!

Biloxi is a Gulf resort with sub-tropical weather. Winter and Spring are the dry, sunny season with daytime highs typically in the high 50s to mid 60s. Most (but not all) of the destruction from Hurricane Katrina has been repaired and the damage from the Deepwater Horizon oil spill has been cleaned up for the most part. Without knowing where you're coming from, what you are trying to do, or what you expect to find there, we really can't offer you much help.

We went to Biloxi [from Texas LOL] two years ago at the end of August. So I know that there won't be an boat excursions this time or a trip to Ship Island. I'm just hoping for non - miserable weather. 50 degree is cold for Texans but 60+ would be tolerable. Would like to take some more beach photos - hopefully it is even more improved than last time.

Yes I did .... thank you ... so by the last five years [and I'm terrible at math] looks like an average of low 60s .... I can live with that but will probably have my jacket and long sleeves :)

Who is ready for a roadtrip / gambling trip? Yeah this girl!!!

Leaving in a week and half! We've made this trip before but not in the winter! Taking 20 east to 49 south then 12/10 east. Then south again on 43 first stop the Silver Slipper in Bay St. Louis. This area has never really bounced back from Katrina - but I love this casino - people are so friendly. Then we head on down 90/beach hwy for 4 nights in Biloxi. Then 10 back home with a walk thru stop in New Orleans.

    Default Please report back.

Hi Traci, have a wonderful and safe trip. Looking forward to reading your report, either while you are on the road, or after you get back. It is always good to read how the advice worked for you and what gems you may have seen and enjoyed. And of course, we love to see your pictures.
