    Default Leaving Chicago March 28

We have rented a Class A for our first RV trip on March 28-April 4. Was thinking of heading to Asheville, NC to the Biltmore. Is that doable in 7 days? Other route suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello and welcome to the RTA forums !

Yes it would be doable. If it's a round trip back to Chicago you should allow at least 3 days for the driving, leaving you 4 days to do as you wish. You should look at a different route for the way back to see new things, perhaps going via Nashville one way. Then there is Great Smokey mountains quite close to Asheville. [Not sure what the weather situation is like there in March ?]

For other suggestions, that would depend a lot on your interests of which we know nothing about and just how much driving you want to do. You can search around the forums and trip planning pages in the tool bars above for ideas and then let us know what else appeals.
