    Welcome to RTA!

Wow, that's a tall order, because Florida is a decent-sized state with a lot of things to see. It might help us to help you, if you let us know what you're interested in. History? Lots of history there, like St Augustine. Scenic? The Keys, the Everglades, the Gulf Coast. Beach life? Plenty of it, considering that the state is a peninsula and surrounded by water :-) City life? With Tampa, Miami, Pensacola, Tallahassee, Jacksonville, you've got plenty. Theme parks? Head for Orlando -- with Disney, Universal, and more there, you can spend a week and not get to everything in every theme park there.

It would also help us to know how long you have for the trip, and where you're coming from.

    Default On the other hand.....

Donna is of course, spot on.

On the other hand, in a State with so many attractions you could choose to just hit the road, and stop at each and every attraction which catches your interest. Travel the highways and byways. A good road atlas and / or paper maps will guide you along the way. Most of the information on them is not on your electronic devices.

Key West is good to just chill out for a couple of days. 4 hrs (aprox) from Miami. Eat breakfast at Blue Heaven Cafe. Dee-licious.

Oh and if you are going to any theme park get there as early as possible, you will beat the crowds and can enjoy before it gets really HOT and Humid. (also the afternoon thunderstorms.)

Try to spend a day in around Florida everglades. Do not miss "Shark Valley" on route 41. Walk near gators few feet away...
