  1. Default Arizona to Disney World and Back!

This trip is probably a couple of years out, but never hurts to start early.

Anyone have places we just have to see along the I-10 corridor between Tucson, AZ and Orlando Florida? Places to stop (we love to camp - tents) for the night, etc. Museums, historical sites...

    Welcome to RTA!

First thing that jumps to mind is two long days drive from Tucson: Houston's Johnson Space Center. I was there years ago, and we'd hoped to go this summer but aren't going to get to go till possibly next year. Other thoughts: Big Bend National Park (turn south at Fort Stockton, TX), Six Flags (San Antonio), The Alamo (San Antonio), Galveston.

New Orleans with its jazz clubs . Tallahassee.

We just did a similar journey last summer -- went through Tucson on our way to DisneyWorld. The only difference was, we shot further north in Texas on I-20 to visit friends north of Fort Worth, then came back to I-10 using US 49 through Mississippi. Prepare for rain and humidity and crowds if you go in summer (and we did this in late June).
