    Default check the forecast

    Welcome to the RTA Forum!

It is simply impossible to say what weather conditions might be 3 weeks from now. The only way you'll know is to check the forecast in the days before you leave.

It is roughly the same distance to go over to California and then up I-5 as it is to go up to Utah and take I-15/I-84/I-82 to Seattle, so pick the one that looks like it will have the best weather. Either way, you should plan on the trip to take at least 3 days, and it would be a very good idea to have a 4th day available in case there is bad weather that can not be avoided.
