  1. Default Good BBQ Along the way?

I am RTing from New Orleans, to Little Rock to Jacksonville, FL and back to New Orleans in February, and looking for good bbq spots along the way. If anyone knows of any, I'd love for you to share!

    Default They're Everywhere

Welcome aboard the RoadTrip America Forums!

I can suggest a few spots along your route, such as Goldie's in Vicksburg. In Little Rock, a local favorite is Sims Bar-B-Que, and you may also want to sample Whole Hog and Capitol Smokehouse. Memphis has several well received barbecue establishments including the Three C's: Corky's, Cozy Corner, and Central. For something a bit less 'formal', check out Romie's in Tupelo, it's a grocery store but serves barbecue on the weekend (Thursday through Saturday) evenings. In Columbus GA, there's Clearview, Country's and Macon Road. As you might be able to tell, I'm a fan of towns with multiple BBQ joints. The competition drives them all to a better product.
