Toronto to New Orleans and back in 7 days

I did say I'd rather spend all the time we have in New Orleans. But I'm pretty sure I also mentioned that that's not what my gf wants to do. And since this is her trip....

Anyways, our plan keeps changing by the second. Now we're back to driving to New Orleans from Toronto :) This seems to be the final decision...

And my response said you could still do a roadtrip based out of New Orleans, it would have just been much cheaper and more efficient.

But as you said it is her trip, and it sounds like you need to get a better idea of what she wants - with some specifics - before you're really going to get much in the way of useful tips.

Well if you flew to NO, you might have enough time to rent a car one day to travel outside NO and see a bit more of Louisiana.

I meant fly to and from NO with one car rental for day trip in area surrounding NO.
