Hello all, I have a Rightlinegear Car Back Carrier/Cargo Saddlebag.
I have been enjoying it on my Chevy Trailblazer. The carrier works great but the vehicle has given out.
I recently purchased a GMC Terrain, which is a Chevrolet Equinox equivalent, and I am hesitant about using the rear carrier because of the way straps come down from the roof rack and puts pressure on the lip/spoiler/third light thing above the lift gate incorporated into the roof line. I noticed that most/many dealer makes and models now use this new styling cue.
Has anyone experienced any problems with the straps putting excessive pressure on this relatively cheap piece of plastic spoiler? If so is there some sort of way to transfer the stress more towards the vehicles roof line and away from this piece of plastic?
