  1. Default 4 day round trip out of Vegas

We are looking for suggestions on a round trip 4 day excursion starting and ending in Vegas. Would love to see Yosemite, possible drive some of the California coastline San Luis Obispo, Pismo Beach, etc., and have already done the Red Rock and Grand Canyon tours. Leaving early morning 11/3 and have to be back in Vegas late night 11/6.

    Any suggestions?

4 days is going to be very tight, but you can do it if you don't linger anywhere. Tioga Pass may or may not be open and you may need tire chains in Yosemite.

If Tioga is open, you can make it to Yosemite Village via Death Valley and Tioga Pass in one very long day - I'd recommend you leave LV before sunup. You are looking at ~10+ hours. If Tioga is closed, you will have to go around - I-15/CA-58/CA-99/CA-41, and this will take at least as long if not longer.

Yosemite to the coast at Monterey is at least 5 hours, then to SLO is another 5 hours. This does NOT include any sightseeing time, so you have to consider that in your plans. SLO back to LV is 8+ hours.

    Welcome to the RTA Forum!

As long as Tioga Pass is still open, you could do a quick tour of the places you've mentioned.

    It would look something like:
11/3 - through Death Valley, spending the night around Mammoth or Lee Vining.
11/4 - Across Tioga and spend the night in the Yosemite Valley.
11/5 - Across to Montery and down through Big Sur
11/6 - Sprint back to Vegas via Bakersfield.

Mind you, this is a very quick pace already and its on the upper end of how much you can do with your time. You might consider skipping the coast to have more time to enjoy DV and Yosemite.

    Default A bit busy.

Whereas I agree it can be done, it's a lot of rushing through some beautiful country. A slightly different take on Michaels suggestion would be to get to Yosemite valley on day 1 with an early start and day 2 explore a little of the park before moving on to Monterey for the night and then on around Big Sur to the Cambria area and back to Vegas. If Tioga is open, I would consider doing Death valley, Yosemite and Sequoia NP, slow down, enjoy the sights and leave the coast for another day. If it's closed you could head towards Yosemite by going around the southern end of the mountains via Bakersfield and across to the coast as described above.
