  1. Default Start or end with the long day

I'm about to hit the road from the midwest to inland northwest. Overall, is it better to start with your longest day or end with it?

    Welcome to the RTA forum!

It depends upon what you are going to define as a long day.

In general you are actually much better off keeping with fairly even lengths throughout. If you are planning to push past the 600-700 mile mark on any day, even with multiple drivers, you are going to sacrifice both safety and your ability to enjoy the trip.

    Default Define "Longest"

Welcome aboard the RoadTrip America Forums!

That all depends on how many days you have, how many miles you have to drive, how your are apportioning the miles over those days, and how long your 'longest' day is.
