Default Best gas mileage tracker app for iPhone?

So this week I got a brand new iPhone.

I was looking at getting a gas mileage tracking app. Anyone have any preferences?

Default Cool on the new acquisition

Cool on the new acquisition... but I don't know why one would need an app for that. What does such an app do that you can't do with a pencil and a calculator?

Why would I need a pencil and a calculator when I have a handheld computer? ;)

    Default Yeah..........

I have a hand-held calculator in my phone too. I just don't know what I'd put in an app... It just seems more road trippy to keep a written log. But mostly, cars these days keep track of this with the on-board chip sets. I actually can't remember the last time I checked mine....

Hey, Have you looked at the Vezma GPS Mileage and MPS tracking application?, I have been using them for quite a while now and find their service impressive. They have good cloud support and a responsive customer service team as well. Their mobile application is available on Android, Blackberry, iOS and windows phone and is permanently free however their cloud support which comes under premium membership will be free for one month after which you will be charged a nominal fee. Through their premium scheme, you can do the following.

    • All tracked trips are auto synced online (choose Wi-Fi, data plan)
    • Powerful trip tracking records searching, filtering & management (add, edit, delete)
    • See your tracked trips and visited places displayed on interactive map
    • Keep others updated via location sharing (SMS, email, social media)
    • Define frequently visited places for automatic check in at the location
    • Generate professional mileage log and trip reports (word, excel, pdf)

    Hope this helps

Default What a difference in 3 short years

Yeah.... actually, I think member "surajramnani" is actually an advertiser/marketing person, but I am letting this post survive -- because the information is interesting....

I just reread my post from 2011 (#4) -- I don't use a pencil and paper anymore for this function. It's all in the apps!
