Default Custom Printing Tool for the Custom Maps

We've launched the RTA Custom Map Printing Utility

At the current time, the printing utility is only enabled on the Map Center page, but within the next week or so we'll be offering this tool for maps created on the Map Wizard page.

Once you select a saved map -- either by creating and saving a new one or choosing one from your "My Maps" list on your Map Center page, you'll see that the "Print Saved Map" button will become active on your mapping page.

**You can choose how you want your map to look when it’s printed, and you can choose what other information you’d like to print below the map.

So, please, go and kick the tires and then let us know what you think,

****We know that there are still some remaining bugs when using the IE-8.0 browser, we're working on that****

Please, share your comments and ideas about the new map printing tool here.

Default Even if you don't want to print....

One of the really cool things about the Printing tool is that you can use the RTA Custom Mapping program to present the information about your planned trip in a more user-friendly way -- even if you don't print it.

The Print Set-up Page can show you your map & route, and all of the information you've placed on the map -- whether by your own Custom Places (CPs) or the Library RoadTrip Attractions (RAs) that you've loaded.

    Check it out!

    Cool Nice.

Just had a chance to create a map and look at the 'Print set up' page, that's pretty darn cool !

I don't know if it has been discussed before, but can we, or will it ever be possible to use the 'GMAP' tool to display the saved map as we would a Google map? [I know that you can already link to the saved map]

    Default Good Reminder

That would be a good thing -- I think that might be possible -- I'll look into it.
